01 / OVERVIEW

Turn the time gap into a focus for your next lap.

See sections where time is lost and differences in driving inputs in one view.

03 / ENGINEERING PRINCIPLES

The thinking behind the tools.

In GT7 Telemetry Lab, these principles shape how laps are compared, decisions are explained, and source data is handled.

  1. 01

    Make comparisons meaningful.

Align laps by distance, even when speeds differ. Interpolate on a one-meter grid to compare driving inputs at the same place.

  2. 02

Show the basis for a decision.

Connect sections with time losses to differences in speed, braking, and throttle, so the numbers can inform what to try next.

  3. 03

    Keep source data intact.

Read driving CSV files without changing them. Store practice sections and settings in separate JSON files.
